Mirrors have tended to be purely functional items in my house but there are so many gorgeous ones around that I think it’s time to get decorative. My all time favourite is the Jacques Adnet Circulaire for Gubi but that is a design classic and commands a fairly classic price too – £474 for anyone who’s asking.
So, It’s time to look for something else and, since I don’t want to buy a knock off, I need to find something that in inspired by, rather than a direct copy of, and this, my friends is it. It’s from MiaFleur and is a round iron mirror with a chain to fix it up.
This also appeals to my inner industrial stylist and at £28 to my wallet too. One quibble is that it’s only 24cm in diameter and I would like a really big one! Having said that you can hang two or three in a group – you have to be slightly careful with this as it’s close to becoming a cliche but have a look at the top picture and see what you think. And, MiaFleur if you find one that measures 45cm or more then let me know.
