New Shop Discovery: Room 39

14a

I just love this picture. The combination of blush pink and black and bone linen makes my heart sing a little bit every time I look at it. It’s all available from Room 39, a store owned by Petra Green, who was born in Slovenia and lives in London and everything on her site is made either here or there.

The plate is by Anja Slapnicar and is exclusive to Room 39. Anja is a ceramic artist from Slovenia who uses a wide variety of clays, sometimes adding different kinds of sand to add texture or mixing clays to get different colours. She also mixes her own glazes from traditional recipes, often using the old Japanese type wood-fired kiln to fire her work. This plate is £18.

Grey-Lace-Throw-

This lace felt throw is made to order in the UK and comes in either off white or grey marl – see the pictures above and below. It’s £350 and would be a real show-stopping addition to a bedroom.

Go and have a browse about. I can’t stop as I’m off to Paris (I know – the glamour -find out more tomorrow) but I’ll leave you with the gorgeous pictures in the meantime.
