Sometimes we just have to be purely practical and the fact of the matter is that if you have a bathroom, it will need a bin. But there’s no reason why it can’t be an attractive and well-designed object. That is, after all the point of this series. So, here is the Birillo. From Alessi. The lid swings open and closed, much better than an open bin in a bathroom. It’s white, so it will disappear into a corner, and, for those that like that sort of thing, comes with a matching soap dispenser, loo brush and all the rest of the kit.
