Objects of Design #188: Memory Balloon Light

Who doesn’t love a balloon? But sadly they disappear all too quickly and there’s something so sad about a single, quietly deflating, balloon left lying in the corner of the room.

But what about these? Made from hand blown glass, they will never burst or deflate and will surely bring a smile to your face whenever you see them.

There’s a ceiling version as well if you would prefer.

The lights take a standard bulb and screw onto a metal plate that fixes to them to the wall or ceiling. They come in three sizes and eight colours.

If you like these you may also like these, which I wrote about last year.

The lights are available from notonthehighstreet.com and cost £134.
