This is a bit different from the run of the mill pendant lights, although I would suggest you hang it somewhere where it will provide atmosphere and decoration rather than over a desk where homework needs to be done. The glass is handblown, the diamond pattern is etched on and the whole thing is given an aged mercury patina. If you don’t like this one there is a table lamp too, but don’t buy both – at least not for the same room. You really can have too much of a good thing.
