These vintage Ercol Goldsmith chairs (don’t you love the high back?) have been fully restored by Amy Cawson, of Florrie + Bill, and spray painted in a selection of gorgeous RAL colours. You can buy a set in the colour mix of your choice for £660 or have just one – for a hallway or bedroom – for £175.
Or you can contact Amy through the site to talk about picking your own colours, which will cost a little more. I have to admit I had gone off the idea of mixed chair colours until I saw these. I would definitely have a couple of black ones but would like to mix with a blush colour or perhaps I’d throw in a couple of navy blue ones.
I’ll tell you one thing for nothing though. Whatever colour you choose will look great against a black wall. I remember Amy showing the images of her newly painted wall a few weeks ago and for anyone who was hesitating about going over to the dark side, this should make your mind up.
What colours would you choose?
i actually despair at myself (my husband even more) as I am forever changing my mind. A while ago I had a selection of beautiful church pew chairs that I spray painted in a range of lovely colours……..for whatever reason I went off them and got rid of them… (!!!??) and looking at these it makes me wonder why I did that as these look amazing. D’oh!!!
*weeps for you*…
