Look it’s an 18 bedroom Grade I listed MOATED castle, who doesn’t want to have a poke about inside? I mean, I get that most of you wouldn’t want to live in it. I would. So you can all come and look at it with me. My blog my rules.

Also it’s three million quid, which seems reasonable for an 18 bedroom castle. Did I mention the moat? It’s on the market with Strutt & Parker  and you can choose from the King’s suite, the regal suite or even the knight’s or knaves’ suites. There’s even a dungeon *squeals*.

Built as a manor house in Saxon times, Sir William de Caverswall  received a “licence to Crenellate” his 1275. It then fell into disrepair until it was rebuilt in Jacobean times, then ended up as a nunnery for a bit. The Wedgewoods lived there for a while and everyone has added something or put their stamp on it in some way.

The panelling is extraordinary but equally imagine what you could do with this empty room. I was also tickled to note that the brochure points out, presumably as as selling point, that there is off street parking. Because you would totally expect to find this on the high street nestling between the Co-op and the fishmonger wouldn’t you?

Where next? Oooh how about a fashion designer’s former London home that’s just gone on the market for £1,500,000 also with Strutt & Parker. The home of Tom Ford between 1994 and 2004 – while he was based in London for Gucci – is spread over two floors and is around 900sq ft.

The apartment, in Redcliffe Gardens in SW10 has a master bedroom and en-suite, an open-plan reception room and kitchen and large roof terrace. The spiral staircase leads to a second bedroom and shower room.

The west-facing roof terrace (perfect for a little sundowner) extends the full width of the flat and there’s also a large storage room on the ground floor.

Finally, this little house in Fitrovia is on the market with Chestertons for £2,500,000. It has two bedrooms and is currently used as a live/work space. There’s a reception, utility and bathroom on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first and the kitchen is at the top with a balcony on two sides.

Arranged over three floors it has two reception rooms, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s silly money but it’s a gorgeous little house isn’t it and you’re basically paying for the location.

The kitchen, which is basically fills the footprint of the whole house, is 20ft by 15ft 7ins which gives you an idea of the space you’d have.

So that’s it for this week. Which one are you buying this week?
