Now I know we dealt with lighting in some detail last month (click here for 31 different lighting ideas) but then along comes another beauty and it has to be included. After all, the right lighting is an important part of the winter nesting process isn’t it.

This can be used all year round  – I used to have something very similar which just looked gorgeous hanging on the wall. Until somebody broke it. He knows who he is. But it’s fine now because he knows where to come to replace it. Doesn’t he?

And, more to the point it’s very affordable isn’t it? I spoke to the owner of the store who explained that they need to charge £5 for delivery so they take that into account when pricing up items in the store.

Everything on the site is Scandinavian design and sourced from shops and warehouses in Stockholm. I’m also rather keen on these glass pots, which would look great with candles or plants in. They cost £10.99.
