Anatomy Boutique,Mexican Day of the Dead Sugar Skull Linen Cushions £60 - £80 www.anatomyboutique.com (Simon Midgley PR)

Aren’t these great? They’re by Emily Evans, who spent ten years as a freelance medical illustrator and teacher of anatomy, before setting up the Anatomy Boutique.

I love these cheery Day of the Dead skulls, but check out red wallpaper below. It’s actually hearts.

Emily started creating bespoke products for customers who wanted something a little bit different. She designed a range of hand screen printed wallpaper for the Barrio Bars in London, a series of Histology Plates for Eat Your Heart Out as well as screen prints and drawings.

Anatomy Boutique, Anatomy of Digestion tableware from £50 (Simon Midgley PR)

Demand grew and eventually she set up the boutique. The cups and plates are all from the Digestion collection and all represent different parts of the body such as arteries, teeth and lobules (whatever they are – hit google if you need to know).

But they’re so delicately drawn that you would never know would you? Even this heart wallpaper looks like a rare plant. Until you know.

I hope you like the collection as much as I do. Have a great weekend.
