Objects of Design #163: Kate Spade Shower Curtain

Gone are the days when shower curtains used to wrap themselves limply round you and cling on as you tried in vain to escape their enveloping dampness while the rail teetered dangerously above and threatened to bring the whole thing down around your ears.

These days changing a shower curtain is a great way to liven up the grottiest of bathrooms. It’s perfect for rented ones too. These are by the US designer Kate Spade, who is perhaps better known for her handbags.

Sadly, they’re only available in the US at the moment from Bed Bath and Beyond but they wouldn’t cost much in postage so if you really want one perhaps you can persuade an American friend to sort it out for you. They cost $39.99.
