Objects Of Design #234: Linen Duvet Cover

french linen duvet cover in blue grey

Once you’ve slept in linen sheets, nothing else is ever quite as good again. This cover is made from soft washed linen and will just get softer with age, which is how you are going to justify the price as it really will last for ever. The other suggestion, made on the site, is that if the duvet cover is too expensive then start off with a couple of pillow cases and take it from there. The joy of this style is that it doesn’t all have to match so you don’t have to buy it all at the same time.

mix and match the colours: vintage pink and soft grey

www.bodieandfou.com  pillow cases are £28, the double duvet cover is £220

    1. That was broadly the same reaction as my mother-in-law! Having said that, I firmly believe that that type of soft washed linen DOESN’T need ironing. At all. Ever. I think ironing might even make it stiff. I shall ask those nice people at Bodie & Fou for their opinion on the matter.
