Objects Of Design #276: Let Them Eat Cake Forks

hand-stamped utensils

Well it’s December and not only is everyone entertaining but everyone’s eating too. These forks are just perfect for the time of year.

But you can, in fact choose from a huge range of hand-stamped cutlery. If cake isn’t your thing then ice cream might be so what about these:

What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is my own

It’s all silver cutlery sourced from antique shops and stamped with almost any phrase you can imagine. There’s lots of Mr and Mrs sets and serving spoons too so they make great presents. I’m sticking with the cake theme though.

Have your cake and eat it forks

But do check out the Hemlock, Poison and Arsenic spoons. Perfect for children who have a habit of looking at a sausage and saying “what’s this?” That’ll teach ’em.

www.etsy.com from around  £16

They have also just landed at www.notonthehighstreet.com where you can choose the words you want. Same prices.
