Objects of Design #6: Wooden Pots

These little wooden pinch pots are just perfect for the kitchen. Use them for nibbles or cook’s essentials including salt and pepper or chilli and garlic. I particularly like the one for olives and their stones.

Designed by Lincoln Rivers, they were apparently inspired by the figure eight which is a symbol of luck in Asian culture. They’re made from white oak and you can just sponge clean and occasionally rub in a little vegetable oil to maintain the finish.
