Bathrooms don’t have to be all practical and sleek and streamlined. There should be room for a little decoration. Even a little decadence maybe. These rather lovely glass jars won’t take up much room on a shelf but they add a little personality. Mind you, I won’t recommend putting the cotton buds in them as they have done here, they’ll be a nightmare to get out again.

Use them instead for bubble bath or Epsom salts which you can easily pour in and out again. Epsom salts are wonderful you know. Cheap as anything and great for aches and sprains – just pour some into the bath and soak away. Tis said ( and I cannot vouch for this but feel I should pass it on) that the celebrities (Victoria Beckham and all that) bathe in Epsom salts to draw out the bloat from their tiny tummies. Worth a go perhaps. And at least you’ll have something to store in your jars.
