If you’re tired of all the usual chrome bathroom accessories that all look exactly the same and you’re looking for something new, have a look at what I have just discovered.

The British online retailer Loaf.com, known for their comfy sofas and bedding, are about to launch a bathroom range. And here are some pictures from the new collection.

From 1 March, they will introduce their first range of bathroom cabinets and stands, laundry  baskets and towels as well as storage units. The new pieces have an industrial-inspired feel and are made from hand-beaten metal, heavy-duty hand-welded wire, reclaimed pine and sustainable, weathered mango wood.

Many of you have said that you don’t want to buy sofas and beds online, for obvious reasons, but Loaf does try to make it a little easier. They promise to deliver when convenient, take away the packaging and recycle the old one.

The company was founded in 2009 as The Sleep Room and added sofas to the range, changing its name to Loaf last year.

Now, in addition to sofas and chairs (yes please to the one above) they are expanding even further. A kitchen range and a new collection of lighting is also coming online in a few weeks.

I like these industrial wire cabinets best, but not just for a bathroom. It would be great in a bedroom for clothes storage, or in a kitchen with plates and pans on. Or even full of books and magazines. What do you think?

  1. I’ve been waiting for this for months. I wish it had come a month earlier, as have had to get other bits to move in. Their advertising campaign on pinterest is fantastic. I shall be having one of the knitted poofs, and potentially one of the coffee tables!
