Now I can see myself happily lounging on this on a summer afternoon in the garden. And in the winter, when everything looks a little forlorn, it is so sculpural that it will still look great. Imagine it in a snowy garden among the monochrome trees … on the other hand let’s not as we’ve only just got the sun out.
Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for the Italian furniture company Driade, in 2002, the range includes a more conventional armchair and a sofa as well as some quirky stools. Click here to see the rest of the range. It’s all made from polyethylene so it’s quite weatherproof and water resistant.
The stools cost £215 and this chaise is £940. I know which one I want most.

One of my favorite pieces! Love your special outdoor finds this month. Wish I were going to Chelsea!
