There’s nothing like a bit of candlelight for a gorgeous al fresco dinner. Hang a few of these from the nearest tree bush, bit of trellis and away you go. Instant atmosphere and, finally, the perfect use for that giant bag of tealights you bought last time you went to Ikea and haven’t used since. You can, of course, also hang them inside or even on the Christmas tree – Nigella does apparently. Just don’t forget to blow them out.
