  1. Great post. I love dark/rich colours and have used them on my walls throughout my house but my internal doors are all modern, wood with glass so I’m very jealous of these images. Best of all is final image, not for the mushroom door although its lovely, but for the dog sleeping on the floor …reminds me of my old Belle who I miss terribly.

  2. Painting the woodwork makes it feel so much more modern, for want of a better word. I’m a bit addicted to painting the woodwork. My staircase and doors leading onto are all Railings and I love it. The walls are LG French Grey which is the colour I use when I don’t know what else to use… The “pink” bedroom is what I am aiming for in mine. Currently got PPL Lady Char Lilac but the ceiling is white and the thought of painting it puts me off as there is a lot of cornice and intricate ceiling rose. All gorgeous photos Kate, thank you, and for putting me onto Tone Kroken’s insta … there goes another few hours tonight down a new rabbit hole 😀
