Copper is still very much the metal of the moment and, while I am often in raptures over its yellow cousin brass, I am fond of a bit of copper too. It looks great with all that charcoal grey paint after all. So, for this week’s Boom/Bust I thought it was time to look at a few copper ceiling lights.

The trouble is there are so many of them around it will be hard to stick to just three. So, in an exception to my own self-imposed rule, here is a selection of copper ceiling lights at varying prices. You can decide if they are boom or bust yourself.

I think if you are going to invest in this trend then you must either go expensive or go different. Which is the reason I am not including the very beautiful copper pendant from Tom Dixon because I think you have probably all seen it before.

So there are those three. And then there are these.

From left to right: Original BTC Stanley from Heals from £287, a copper pendant from Idyll Home for £95 and a hammered cone version from Lindsay Interiors for £49.99.
They’re all gorgeous so it’s just a question of which one will suit your budget.
Boom. Definitely boom.
