My Joss and Main Curated Sale

gold lips kiss print

A few weeks ago I was asked to curate a sale for the members only site Joss and Main. I worked with their buying team to bring together a collection of pieces that are either very similar to things I already own (check out the black buttonback sofa) or that I would like to have because they would fit so well in my house .

The name of my collection is Urban Glamour. For me this means natural fabrics – as luxurious as possible – but mixing them with a slightly industrial feel to bring a little more edginess to the space. So concrete and brass – rather than steel. Velvet sofas and graffiti-style designs. Faded Persian rugs with a fabulous coffee table. Think of it as a luxurious industrial vibe where you replace the battered steel with brass but there is still lots of metal and concrete just softened by the luxe materials.

Colours are warm; greys, navys and golds with hints of pink and copper and textures include velvet, silk, wool and cashmere. Mix them with wood, leather, concrete and metallics to create that feeling of edgy glamour.

For those of you who aren’t yet aware of Joss & Main, yes it is a members only site and yes, I know many of you hate the idea of signing up to something and getting emails every day. Me too. But, I will say this. I do genuinely like the pieces on this site. It’s vast, there’s masses of choice and the prices are pretty amazing too. Not to mention the fact that you will also recognise many of the labels so you know you’re getting good stuff.

Here’s my personal invitation to join Joss & Main and shop my collection. Have fun….
