Halfway through the week and some of us are starting to dream about the weekend. By the way, I have come across that expression Hump Day and I can tell you that we won’t be having any of that in this house. It’s Wednesday pure and simple. Halfway through the week and that is all.
Anyway, ranting over (for now … I’m not promising anything) it seems like the perfect day of the week to show you some gorgeous bedlinen. You never know if you buy it today it might be here by the weekend.
These images are by Tim Young for the Secret Linen Store, a relatively new online store selling bedding made in Portugal and sold directly from the source to you. Meaning you don’t have all the extra cost of overheads and stores etc. They reckon to be 50 per cent cheaper than the average cost of the high street.
Everything is designed by Molly Freshwater who set up the company with her sister Harriet, a marketing manager. The collections are designed to work together in sets and also to be mixed and matched, which is, as we all know, much more fashionable these days.
Designs include spots, stripes, plain, flowers, geometric designs and, my favourite (pictured below) the teasles. Prices vary but you can pick up a duvet cover for £60 and a pillow case for around a tenner.
Enjoy the rest of the week everyone.
Fresh lines, love all the linen! Thanks
